Lindsay Kingsland
Lindsay is a Biokineticist (clinical exercise specialist) using movement as a prescription for injury and lifestyle rehabilitation.
She has over 10 years experience in orthopaedic and neuromuscular rehabilitation, using tailored exercises to improve/maintain muscle function to make a direct impact on a person’s health and wellbeing. Lindsay also holds her mat work Pilates qualification, a great form of exercise to build stability and control in the body - this compliments the main focus of prehabilitation/rehabilitation.
Having first hand experience of exercising while pregnant and the benefits of, Lindsay also has her exercise qualification for pre and post natal exercise. Helping women stay active through pregnancy and postnatally has become a new direction for Lindsay that she is enjoying
Lindsay enjoys working with a wide range of clients. Whether you want to return to function after an injury, prehab before an upcoming operation, add exercise to your chronic illness management or just get healthy Lindsay can help.
When Lindsay isn’t focusing on her clients or running after her toddler she enjoys exercising, reading, cooking and baking and enjoys participating in aerial fitness.
Gemma Bush
Previously a professional dancer, Gemma has worked in the fitness industry since 2013 as a personal trainer and class instructor. After achieving her Personal Training qualification, she continued her studies to gain a diploma in exercise referral and a level 4 qualification in cardiac rehabilitation. She has experience working with clients with conditions such as hypertension, arthritis and diabetes as well as those with complex cardiac conditions.
Gemma focuses on building sound postural alignment and improving mobility to develop day to day functionality and help clients achieve their goals.
As well as her 1:1 sessions and classes in the Bath area, Gemma teaches dance and is embarking on a Pilates qualification Spring 2022.
Andrea Evans
Andrea is the newest member of the team and is also a Level 4 Personal Trainer specialising in exercise for long term neurological conditions.
She has worked in personal training and sports massage for more years than she cares to remember (!) and has acquired great experience working within both the public and private sectors.
Andrea has previously worked for BNES on the exercise referral ‘passport to health’ scheme supporting clients with hypertension, diabetes, anxiety, depression and a variety of medical conditions. She also has experience in assisting with Parkinson’s classes as well as classes for people with balance issues and osteoarthritis.
In the past Andrea has worked as a holistic therapist in gyms and clinics for 14 years offering Shiatsu massage and Reflexology meeting a variety of clients
